President

Prior to founding East Coast Krawlers in 2021, I was Director of Global Enterprise Architecture for a major fortune 500 biotech company for 23 year. In 2019, I purchased my first Jeep. Within 2 weeks of the purchase, I was at an Off-Road park that I never knew existed. That day changed my life forever. I wheeled as much as I could taking a brand new jeep off roading every chance I got. I started modifying it and the rest is history.

I'm happy to announce that Robert Schmitt (Jeff) will assume a leadership role in our club. Jeff will be an alternate trail guide, help plan future club events and more importantly help me grow our club. I've known Jeff for over 3 years through our friendship at Rausch Creek Off Road Park. He's an excellent wheeler, a 20 year veteran of our US Navy and overall a great guy. Please join me in welcoming Jeff to our clubs core team.

Hey everyone, I’m Chad. Born and raised in Virginia, I started wheeling single track at a young age and never looked back. These days I spend way too much time wrenching on my LS-powered TJ, but that’s half the fun. See you on the trail.

Hi Jeepers! I've been hitting the trails for 4 years now. I have learned alot for the guys at Mud & Honor. I typically will run the greens and blues. Usually always have a newbie in the group. Nothing better then seeing the smiles after a few trails from the beginners. I also usually have several cameras going . From a drone, bumper Gopro, or just from the phone. Feel free to watch some videos on my page.

Hello ECK, my name is Ken Chalkley. I live in Athens, TN, and I'm thrilled to be a part of this group. I've been an off road enthusiast since before my teen years. I actually started out on horseback, then moved to dirt bikes. In my early 20s I graduated to rail buggies, then went to building them. In my early 30s I moved into the jeep world and haven't looked back. I am now 58 and having the time of my life wheeling. I am currently in the process of rebuilding my 97 TJ, (I broke it bad!) I have met some amazing people over the years and look forward to meeting many more. Now go play in the dirt!

Been off-roading for about 10 years now. Avid outdoorsman, including hunting, fishing, camping and hiking. I enjoy anything from green trails to red trails. If I'm not hitting a trail in the jeep or riding passenger with one of my buddies you can find my on on a soon to be trail with a chainsaw in my hand! I'm a firm believer of a day in the woods is better then a day in the office. Hope to see-ya in the woods soon!

I originally came from the Memphis area after having served my career as a Memphis Police Officer and later as a detective before moving to Raleigh NC for my wife's career. Back story, I met my wife in Memphis but she was not from there and had no desire to stay there so after our only son Evan was born in 2014 she asked me when I could retire because she did not want to stay in Memphis and wanted me out of law enforcement.
